Description

Ferryway is a 15th-century timber-framed house built on a rubble base. The ground and first floors are studded, with the first floor overhanging on carved brackets and a bressummer. The similarly overhanging gable is plastered. The ground floor features 18th-century horizontally sliding sash windows with intact glazing bars, while there is a modern casement window above. Several original windows have been blocked. Ferryway is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 33 (odd) Fisher Street and Nos 7 to 15 (odd) Church Street in St Clement.
