Description

A building, now two shops with living accommodation above, dating from around 1830. The building occupies numbers 10, 11, and 11A Union Street. It is two storeys high, with a third storey in number 10 to account for the sloping street. The exterior is stuccoed and features an eaves cornice and a slate roof. Number 10 has a three-light window on the first floor. Number 11 has a two-window bay with a panel between them, featuring slates arranged to resemble a Venetian shutter. The original glazing bars remain on the first floor. Modern shop fronts are present, connected by a round-headed doorway with a semi-circular fanlight above. Numbers 1 to 13 (consecutively) and number 15 form a group.
