Description

This is an 18th-century building of two storeys and an attic, located on the north-west side of St Pancras. It has a lower frontage than the adjacent building at number 6, and a significantly lower ridge line. The roof is tiled and gabled, with one gabled dormer window. The first floor is weather boarded. The original sash window on the first floor is set within a flat arch, though its glazing bars are missing; the lower part of the window is obscured by the shop front fascia. The ground floor is faced with modern tiles, and features a shop window with glazing bars and an illuminated window above. The doorway is topped by a flat hood supported on curved brackets, and the door itself has a glazed upper section. A wide, gabled wing extends to the north-west and south-east behind the main facade. Numbers 4 to 15 (consec) and 15A form a group.
