Description
148 and 149 St Pancras are a pair of houses with early 19th-century fronts that likely conceal an older core. They stand three storeys tall and feature three windows in total. The houses are constructed of red brick, with the ground floor cemented. A cornice runs along the top, and the sash windows are set in flat arches within reveals, with rubbed brick voussoirs and intact glazing bars. The ground floor windows have shutters. There are two doorways, each with shouldered architraves, flanked by Doric pilasters and topped with an entablature. The doors are seven-panel moulded types, set in frames with narrow rectangular fanlights positioned between the frames and the entablatures. Nos 147 to 150 St Pancras form a group with these houses.
