Description

The building at 30 and 31 Union Street is a three-storey structure dating to approximately 1840. It has four windows across its facade and is faced in stucco. The ground floor features modern shop fronts. The first-floor windows are flanked by pilasters with architraves, supported on consoles, with one bay window also present. A prominent feature is the balustraded parapet, ornamented with a large guilloche design. This parapet is partially obscured by a later tiled mansard roof with an attic storey.
