Description

No. 25 Union Street is a two-storey building dating from around 1830. The street-facing side has no notable features. It is weatherboarded and has a low-pitched hipped slate roof with bracketed projecting eaves. There are three sash windows with intact glazing bars and architrave moulding around the flush wood frames. To the right, there is a door with two fielded panels and the rest glazed, set within a plain doorcase. A large lean-to hood is supported by plain wood columns. This building was originally known as "Sheridan's Hotel."
