Description
No. 2 Bredfield Street is a two-storey building dating from 1852. It features red brick construction and has three windows with flush frame sashes that include glazing bars and flat lintels on moulded bedstones. There is a smaller window on the ground floor to the left and a six-panel door to the right. The building has two shaped gables on the south return, one of which is part of a lower wing at the rear. A tablet above the first-floor window displays the date 1836 along with the initials ISS. This house is notable for its prominent location near Burkitt House on Chapel Street and the Waggon and Horses Inn.
