Description

The Waggon and Horses Inn likely dates from the early 19th century. It is a two-storey building constructed of brick, which has been painted. A rendered plinth is present. The front elevation features four windows, each with a flush frame sash and glazing bars. The ground floor windows have segmental heads. There are two entrances, also with segmental heads, and an original hanging sign is retained, complete with an iron bracket. The building forms a group with numbers 21, 25, and 29 Angel Lane (West Side).
