Description
The Half Moon Public House dates from the early 19th century, and may incorporate earlier fabric. It is a two-storey and attic building with a rendered front elevation. The building has four windows, one of which is blocked, and one dormer window. A brick dentil cornice is present, although it is partly missing. The windows are sash windows, some with glazing bars. The central doorway has a flush-panelled door within a frame. A second doorway has been blocked and replaced with a window. The building was undergoing alterations in June 1970. The Half Moon Public House forms a group with Nos. 18 to 26 (even) on White Cliff Mill Street.
