Description

No. 26 on White Cliff Mill Street is an 18th-century building featuring a two-window brick front and is two stories tall with an attic. It has two hipped dormers that are adorned with moulded cornices. The eaves cornice is enriched with a cove, and there is a stone plinth at the base. A string course runs at the first-floor level. The building has sash windows that retain wide glazing bars. The doorway is plain and was formerly fitted with a six-panelled door and a rectangular fanlight. Inside, there is some panelling and a staircase. This property is part of a group that includes No. 14, the Half Moon Public House, and Nos. 18 to 26 (even).
