Description
No. 37 High Street is a house with a shop on the ground floor, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and has a slate roof. The building features a four-window arrangement over two storeys. On the first floor, there are three sash windows and one blind window. The ground floor includes two shop windows; the right-hand one is from the 19th century, while the left-hand one is a 20th-century copy. These shop windows are positioned beside a glazed door that has a moulded surround topped with an open pediment supported by cut brackets. To the right, there is a carriage entrance with a depressed arch and double plank doors. The building also has a red brick double ridge stack.
