Description

This is a two-storey building dating from the first quarter of the 19th century. It is one of a pair of identical buildings constructed of painted stucco. The windows are sash windows set within cased frames, each with a moulded architrave. Those on the first floor have low-pitched pediments and acanthus leaf frieze decorations. The upper part of the parapet wall has been rebuilt in blue brickwork. The front entrance has a segmental moulded head and heavy console brackets. The building now features large plate glass shopfronts. Numbers 3 to 13 (the odd numbers) form a group.
