Description

No. 13 Market Place is a late 18th-century building that stands two storeys plus an attic. It features a three-window brick facade with three-light sash windows set in cased frames. The first floor is adorned with painted stone keyblocks and a string band. Above the doorway, there is a modern two-light casement window that lacks glazing bars. The roof, covered with old tiles, includes one gabled dormer and one flat-topped dormer. The shop windows exhibit a Neo-Georgian style. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 3 to 13 (odd).
