Terraced house. Mid-C19. Stucco, roof obscured by parapet. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, 3-window range. The ground-floor front is stepped forward up to a shallow, corbel-like moulding at the springing level of the openings; the openings themselves consist of a segmental-arched entrance with fanlight and panelled door of original design, set deeply back under a segmental arch with an elaborate wave-moulding; and 2 segmental-arched windows of the same design to the right with panels below sills; cornice, with console at the right-hand end, passing round the corbelling of the oriel which has 2 layers of wave mouldings; the centre of the upper floors is slightly recessed and then breaks forward as a canted bay; moulded sill band on consoles with panels below; tripartite window to bay with pilasters and quadrant corners; one flat-arched window to left, the right hand bay being blank; elaborate cast-iron window guard to first-floor bay window; entablature with panelled frieze between consoles; the second floor follows an identical design except in its lower proportions and the fact that it has a flat-arched window in its right-hand bay; eaves gutters; side stacks.
