Description
No. 64 Ship Street is a detached house from the early 19th century. It is built of brick, now painted, arranged in Flemish bond, with a roof that is obscured by a parapet. The building has three storeys and features dormers, with a double-fronted design that includes five windows. The entrance is flat-arched and has an overlight, framed by pilasters with a plain entablature and cornice. All the windows are flat-arched with heads made of gauged brick, and they contain mid-19th century sashes. There is a brick storey band between the ground and first floors, as well as between the first and second floors, and a broad band above the second-floor windows. The house also has a cornice and blocking course, two dormers, and side stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
