Description
No. 69 Ship Street is a terraced house built around 1840 to 1850, although it may have been refronted from an earlier structure. The exterior features dressed flint with brick dressings at the quoins and windows, which are now painted, and a stucco base. The roof is tiled. The house has two storeys and a five-window range, and is double-fronted but not symmetrical. The flat-arched entrance is framed by pilasters and an entablature, while all the windows are also flat-arched. There is a stucco storey band that is scrolled at the ends between the ground and first floor, a dentil cornice, and boxed eaves. The interior has not been inspected.
