Description

Number 7 is a terraced house located on Charlotte Street in Brighton, dating from the early 19th century. The building is constructed of stucco and has a roof that is obscured by a parapet. It stands three storeys tall with an attic over a basement and features a two-window range. Access is via a flat-arched entry that includes an overlight, framed by Tuscan pilasters and an entablature. To the left of the entrance is a full-height segmental bay with tripartite windows, and all windows are flat-arched. There is a balcony with cast-iron railings on the first floor. A storey band between the first and second floors is interrupted by the bay. The second floor has an entablature and cornice, while the attic features an entablature and parapet. There are stacks on the party wall. The interior has not been inspected, but there are railings to the stairs and area.
