Description
This is a section of wall with wrought-iron gates located at the southwest corner of Easthampstead Park College, built around 1860, with the gates dating from the 18th century. The wall is made of red brick in English bond, featuring a weathered stone plinth and coping. It stands approximately 3 metres high and is 14 bays long, with each bay recessed and supported by brick corbels at the top and bottom. The wrought-iron gates display a floral pattern and are flanked by side pilasters and an overthrow that includes a cartouche of heraldic arms. The gate piers are constructed of stone and topped with moulded caps and ball finials.
