Description
The outbuildings and barn located to the east of Peacock Farmhouse date from the late 16th century and early 18th century. They are constructed of brick in Flemish bond, with old tile roofs that are hipped and half-hipped. The buildings are arranged in a U-plan.
The barn features five framed bays and has a later aisle with a hipped mistrey on the eastern side. Inside, the barn boasts a queen post roof with clasped purlins, curved windbraces, and jowled posts, although the two northernmost bays have been altered. The adjoining outbuilding to the south of the barn has a tall four-bay queen post roof with side struts to the principal rafters, and the roof is lined. The outbuilding on the north side connects to Peacock Farmhouse and now serves as an extension to the house.
