Description

No. 25 Dover Street is a terraced house built in the late 18th century. It features painted brickwork and a slate roof, rising four storeys with a basement and a dormered attic set behind a parapet. The façade has three windows and an arched doorway flanked by sidelights and a fanlight. The windows are revealed plate glass sash types with flat gauged arches, and the first-floor windows have cast iron bowed balconettes. Inside, the house retains a staircase with a wrought iron balustrade, along with some original doorcases and door furniture, and delicately moulded plaster friezes.
