Description
No. 10 Dover Street is a terrace house built in the early 18th century. It was refaced in brick in the early 19th century and has a ground floor that was altered in the mid-20th century. The building is four storeys tall and three windows wide, with the entrance located on the mid-20th century ground floor. The first and second floors feature revealed glazing bar sash windows, while the top floor has casement windows, all set under flat gauged arches. There is a moulded cornice above the second floor. Inside, notable features include an early 18th-century closed string staircase with turned balusters and a panelled dado. The front room on the first floor is also panelled and has a box cornice.
