Description

Number 2 and its front garden gatepiers date from the early to mid-19th century. The building is a villa constructed of brick, rendered with stucco. It has a Welsh slate roof. The villa comprises a central three-bay range with a lower, pedimented wing to the right, and a rebuilt wing to the left. The central range is distinguished by a slight central recess and the projection of the side bays. The central entrance features a half-glazed door with an overlight, set within an architrave. Ground floor windows are sash windows set in architraves, with sills and cornices supported on consoles. First floor windows are similarly framed sashes in architraves. The roof is hipped. Two pairs of stucco gatepiers mark the front garden.
