Numbers 17 and 18, including the front garden wall and gatepiers, are a pair of houses built in the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed of brick and finished with stucco, with the roof concealed. The buildings are two storeys high with a basement and feature four bays, flanked by recessed single-storey, single-bay entrance wings on either side. There are steps leading to the entrances, with a balustrade at No 17. Each house has a four-panel door topped with a fanlight, set within round-arched architraves that have a panelling motif above and a cornice. The central windows are sashes with margin lights, also framed by architraves with sills and cornices supported on consoles at the ground floor. A sill band runs along the first floor, and there is a cornice adorned with consoles and dentils, topped by a parapet. The front garden wall features simple railings and gatepiers.
