Description
Numbers 30 and 31, including the front garden wall and gatepiers, are a pair of houses built around 1830. They are constructed of brick and have a stucco finish, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The buildings are two storeys high, with an attic and a basement, featuring four bays. The central two bays project forward, flanked by recessed single-bay entrance wings on either side. Each house has four-panel doors with an overlight, set within architraves that have a cornice. The central section has tripartite sash windows in architraves, with cornices supported by consoles above the two central bays. There is a sill band on the first floor, and the entrance bays have sashes with margin lights. A cornice with egg and dart moulding decorates the central area, and a balustraded parapet with a central pediment on a pilastered base contains attic windows. The front garden features a stucco low wall with railings and low gatepiers.
