Description

Number 3 and its front garden wall and gate piers form an early to mid-19th century house. The building is brick, with a stucco finish, and has a concealed roof. It is two storeys high with a basement, arranged as three bays, with a slight projection of the window bays and a recessed central bay. Steps lead to a central four-panel door, set within a pilaster surround and topped with a dentilled cornice. Tripartite sash windows are set within architraves, featuring sills and cornices resting on consoles. The first floor also has sash windows within architraves. A dentilled cornice sits above the windows, leading to a partly balustraded parapet. A low front garden wall features simple railings, with gate piers centrally and further piers to the sides.
