Description

Number 5 is an early to mid-19th century house with a later raised level, situated on the north-east side of Park Place Villas in the City of Westminster. The building is constructed of brick, rendered with stucco, and has a concealed roof. It is two storeys and has a basement and attic. The three window bays project slightly, with a recessed central section. A central, pilastered porch projects forward, featuring a round-arched entrance with a half-glazed door and a fanlight, topped with a cornice and balustrade. The ground floor windows are tripartite sashes set within architraves, featuring sills and a cornice supported on consoles. A sill band runs along the first floor. The first-floor windows are sashes in architraves with cornices. A dentilled cornice sits above, followed by attic sashes in keyed architraves, and a panelled parapet. A low front garden wall runs along the frontage, with gatepiers at the centre and left side. A further pier is located on the right.
