Description

TQ 2981 SW CITY OF WESTMINSTER POLAND STREET W1 (east side) 57/44 No. 11 23.11.78 - II Terrace house. In part c.1700 the front probably rebuilt late C19. Stock brick with stuccoed 1st floor, concealed roof. 4 storeys. 2 windows wide. Ground floor has late C20 shop front. Upper floors have recessed late C19 sashes in moulded stucco surrounds, the 1st floor with single wide 6-light window under segmental arch. Parapet with coping. Interior retains good c.1700 closed and moulded string dog leg staircase with twisted balusters and column newels, panelled compartment, and listed accordingly.
