Description
No. 46 Berwick Street is a terrace house dating from the early 18th century, with some alterations. It is constructed of brown brick and has a slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and is three windows wide. The ground floor features a later 20th-century shop front, while the upper floors have recessed, close-set sash windows without glazing bars, which are set under flat gauged brick arches. The building has a parapet with coping and a cornice lead rainwater head, likely from the late 18th century. Inside, original features include a closed string dog leg staircase with turned balusters and square newels, as well as a first-floor front room that has a box cornice.
