Description

This house on Rossmore Road dates to around 1800. It is constructed of stock brick, with a rendered front, and has a concealed slate roof. The building is three storeys high, with a basement, and has a three-window frontage. The central entrance features a panelled door with two glazed panels, set within an architrave surround. The windows are recessed sash windows with glazing bars, with the upper floor windows having a 3x4 pane arrangement, all set within architrave surrounds. A parapet with coping runs along the top of the building, and there are brick end stacks. Original cast iron spearhead area railings are also present. The property holds group value as a well-preserved example of an early 19th-century house.
