Brick, stuccoed. 4 storeys, basement and attic. Irregularly shaped, on corner site. 13 bays in all, including full height 3-window bow to No 43. Projecting Doric porches contain double doors with overlights. 2-storey porch between bow of No 43 and bow of return of No 21 Hyde Park Square (qv) forming symmetrical composition. First floor: iron balcony. Casement windows, some pediments, some flanking pilasters. Above, mainly sashes with glazing bars. Dentil cornice. Iron basement railings.
