Description

Nos 11 and 12 Strathearn Place are a pair of mid-19th century houses. They are constructed of brick, which has been stuccoed, and are three storeys high with a basement and attic. Each house has four bays. The central projecting porches feature pilasters, jamb lights, and overlights, and are flanked by single-sash windows externally and tripartite sashes internally. An iron balcony is present on the first floor. Casement windows are fitted with alternate segmental and triangular pediments. A sill band marks the second floor. The sashes contain glazing bars. A modillion cornice tops the building, and attic windows are concealed behind balustrades. Iron railings are present at basement level.
