Description
Nos 122 and 124 on Stonhouse Street are a mid-19th century pair of houses, each featuring two storeys and a basement, with one window in the outer block and a narrower central entrance bay linking them. The buildings are constructed of stock brick with a stuccoed basement. A full-height window panel and angle pilasters support the bracketed eaves and the pedimented gable end. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are set under gauged flat brick arches on the first floor and are surrounded by stuccoed entablatures below. The entrance features a half-glazed four-panel door that is set back behind a classical entrance with a round arch.
