Description

These are two mid-19th century houses, likely originally part of a terrace, located on the west side of Clapham Manor Street. Each house has two storeys and two windows, with number 72 being wider than number 74. The external appearance is of stock brick with a stuccoed basement, an entablature, and a blocking course along the top. The roofs are slate-covered and include dormers. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. The first floor windows are set within gauged flat brick arches. The ground floor windows are in stucco surrounds with console bracketed cornices and bracketed sills. There are six steps leading up to four-panel doors, each set back behind its own entablature surround.
