Description

This is an early 19th century pair of buildings located on the east side of Clapham Road. Each building is three storeys high with an attic and basement, and has two windows. They are constructed of stock brick with a stone-coped parapet. The roofs are slated mansard roofs with dormers. The windows have gauged flat brick arches, and the basement is stuccoed while the ground floor is banded and rusticated. A set of five rebuilt steps leads to a four-panel door, which is set within a round-arched recess and features fluted quadrant pilasters, a mutuled cornice head, and a plain fanlight. The buildings are included in the listing for their group value.
