Description
Nos 16 and 18 on Stockwell Park Road are an early to mid-19th century pair of houses, each featuring two storeys, an attic, and a basement. They have one window in the main block and a narrow set-back outer entrance bay. The buildings are adorned with pilasters at the corners and along the central axis, which support a frieze, cornice, and blocking course. The mansard roof is slated and includes dormer windows. The sash windows on the ground floor are set within round-arched recesses. Access to the houses is via five steps leading to an ornate four-panel door, which is framed by a moulded architrave and set back behind a segmental arched entrance.
