Description
Nos 20 to 30 on Stockwell Park Road are early to mid-19th century pairs of houses, each featuring two storeys, an attic, and a basement. Each house has one window in the main block and a narrow set back outer entrance bay that may be one or two storeys high. The buildings are constructed of stock brick and are adorned with stucco giant pilasters that support a frieze, cornice, and blocking course. They have a slated mansard roof with dormers. The sash windows, mostly with glazing bars, are set within segment-arched recesses on the ground floor, topped with gauged flat brick arches. There are five steps leading up to the doors. Nos 20 and 22 are set back in stucco bays, with No 22 featuring a swept angle porch. The other houses have six-panel doors with elliptical fanlights.
