Description

This is an early to mid-19th century pair of houses, numbered 25 and 26, located on Stockwell Green. The houses are three storeys high and each has two windows. They are built of stock brick, with a recessed section on the central axis. The buildings have a parapet with brick and stone coping. A stucco band sits below the long first-floor windows. The replaced sash windows, which have glazing bars, are set within stucco-lined reveals and have flat brick arches above. The entrances are located in side bays and are framed by stucco surrounds. Number 26 has been divided into two flats; the upper flat is accessed via a long flight of steps on the left return.
