Description

This is an early to mid-19th century house located on Stockwell Green. It is originally a three-storey, three-window front, but with an added left bay containing a second entrance door. The house is built of stock brick with a stucco entablature and blocking course. The window arches are of brick, with round arches on the ground floor and segmental arches above. The ground floor windows are set within round arched recesses, similar to the door recesses. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. A cast iron balcony is located on the first floor. The main entrance features a six-panel door within a stuccoed recess, topped with a cornice and a plain fanlight. The entrance section projects slightly and has a cornice, indicating what was once a porch.
