Description
Nos 50 and 52 on Stockwell Park Road are an early to mid-19th century pair of houses, each standing three storeys high with a basement. They feature one window in the main section and another in a slightly set back outer entrance bay. The buildings are constructed of stock brick and have a stucco frieze, a dentil cornice, and a blocking course. The basement and rusticated ground floor create voussoirs for the round-arched door recesses. The windows have moulded architraves with console bracketed cornices on the ground floor, and they are sash windows with vertical bars, although most have been replaced. There are seven steps leading up to half-glazed doors that are flanked by pilasters, topped with a cornice head and a plain fanlight.
