Description
Nos 2 and 4 Stockwell Park Crescent is an early to mid-19th century pair of houses, each featuring two storeys, an attic, and a basement, with lower set back entrance bays. The buildings are finished in stucco with incised lines and a ground floor band. They have angle pilasters with a fret pattern that support a frieze, a box cornice, and an open pedimented gable end with a lunette. The fairly low pitched roof is slated with eaves soffits. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are set in moulded architraves, with tripartite windows on the ground floor and cornices above them. Access to the houses is via five steps leading to studded, half glazed four-panel doors, which are paired and covered by a hood that has been renewed in asbestos.
