Description
No. 40 Stockwell Park Crescent is a mid-19th century house that stands 2 and a half storeys tall with a basement and features two windows. The building is constructed from stock brick, with a stucco basement and a cill band on the first floor. It has a moderately low-pitched slated roof with an open pedimented gable end facing the street. The house has sash windows, some of which include glazing bars, set within moulded architraves. The ground floor windows are round-headed and flanked by pilasters, with key and impost blocks above. They also feature a projecting bracketed cill with an ornamental cast iron guard. The entrance consists of a similar design to the windows, featuring a 4-panel door with a cornice head and a plain fanlight, all set within a stucco panel.
