Description
49 and 51 Stockwell Park Road is an early to mid-19th century pair of houses, each with three storeys and a basement. They feature one window in the main block and a two-storey outer entrance bay that is slightly set back. The window sections project slightly from the façade. The buildings have fairly low-pitched hipped slate roofs with eaves soffits, constructed from stock brick. The basement and ground floor are finished with banded stucco. The windows have moulded architraves, and most are sash windows with vertical bars. There are five steps leading up to half-glazed four-panel doors, which are also framed by moulded architraves and set back behind stuccoed entablature surrounds. These houses are included for their group value.
