Description
This is a mid 19th century house located at 13 Cavendish Avenue, NW8. It is constructed of yellow brick with a channelled stucco ground floor and stucco dressings, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The building has three storeys and a basement, featuring three bays, with an additional single storey bay to the left that was rebuilt in the 20th century.
There are steps leading to the entrance on the left, which is framed by a Doric porch that includes a metope and triglyph frieze and a mutule cornice. The entrance features double panelled doors with an overlight above. The windows throughout the house are sashes with glazing bars. A sill band runs along the first floor, and the upper windows are adorned with flat gauged brick arches. The roof is hipped with overhanging eaves that have modillions. At the time of the last survey, the house was undergoing renovation.
