Description

This is a mid-19th century house located on Cavendish Avenue in Westminster. The house is constructed of brick, with a stuccoed ground floor featuring channelled detailing. It has a Welsh slate roof. The house is three storeys high, with a basement, and has three bays. A central Tuscan porch features a dentil and egg and dart cornice, topped with a pierced stucco balcony. The front door is double, with an overlight. The ground floor windows are casement windows. A first floor band and a sill band are visible. The sash windows have glazing bars and are set within architraves with hoods supported by consoles. A second floor sill band has wave moulding, and more casement windows are present. To the rear, facing Cavendish Close, is a three-window canted bay of two storeys, with an iron balcony above. A tripartite window is located on the second floor. The building features a cornice and overhanging eaves with modillions.
