Description

This is a mid-19th century house located on the north side of Cavendish Close in Westminster. The house is constructed of yellow brick in a Flemish bond pattern. The ground floor is channelled stucco, with stucco dressings. The roof is covered in Welsh slate. The building is three storeys high with a basement, and has three bays. A central entrance is accessed via steps with low walls and urns. The porch features angle pilasters and contains double doors with a patterned overlight. The windows are four-pane sashes. A first-floor band and sill band are visible, along with sashes with glazing bars set within flat gauged brick arches. The second floor has a sill band with wave moulding, and casements. A cornice is present, with modillions supporting the overhanging eaves. The roof is hipped.
