Description

This mid-19th century house is located on the north side of Cavendish Close. The building is constructed of yellow brick in Flemish bond, with a channelled stucco ground floor and stucco dressings. It has a Welsh slate roof. The house is three storeys high, with a basement, and features three bays. A central Ionic porch provides access via steps, containing a door with jamblights and a patterned overlight. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, with flat gauged brick arches above the ground floor sashes. A first floor band and a sill band are visible. The second floor features a sill band with wave moulding, and the windows here are six-pane sashes. A cornice is present, with modillions supporting the overhanging eaves. The roof is hipped.
