Description

This is a mid-19th century house located on the north side of Cavendish Close in the City of Westminster. The house is constructed of brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a rendered finish. The ground floor is channelled stucco with stucco dressings. The roof is covered in Welsh slate.

The house is three storeys high, with a basement, and has three bays. A central Ionic porch provides access via steps, and contains a door with jamblights and a patterned overlight. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. The first floor has a band, and a sill band runs across the facade. Above the windows are flat, gauged brick arches. The second floor has a sill band with a wave moulding. The windows on this floor are sashes with six panes. A cornice sits above the main windows, with modillions supporting the overhanging eaves. The roof is hipped.
