Description

A pair of houses located on Cavendish Avenue, dating from the mid-19th century. The houses are constructed of stucco, with a low-pitched slate roof running to eaves. They are three storeys high, with a basement. Each house has two main bays. Square-headed entrances are located to the right of each house, featuring broad console cornices. The first-floor right-hand windows are pedimented. Canted bay windows extend the full height of the houses to the left side of each. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. Above the second floor is a cornice. This group value reflects their contribution to the architectural character of the area.
