Description

Nos 1 and 2 Cavendish Avenue are a pair of semidetached villas built around 1840. They are two storeys tall and each villa has two windows. The outer bays are set back slightly and feature square-headed entrances with panelled doors. There is a pediment above the central bays of the pair. The ground floor has square-headed windows with stucco architraves and cornices, while the upper floors have gauged heads. The windows are sash style with glazing bars. Additionally, there are cast iron balconies on the ground floor and a cornice above the first floor.
