Description

No. 1 Shepherd Street is a corner house with shops, dating from approximately 1870 to 1880. The building is constructed of brick with a stucco ground floor, and has a slate roof. It has one window facing Shepherd Market, a blind chamfered corner, and two windows facing White Horse Street. The shop front is plain and features a fascia. The upper floors contain segmental arched sash windows, with one bay fronted having tripartite windows. The building incorporates brick bands and a cornice. It is included in the register primarily for group value.
